Looking for recommendations for a bow re-hair in the San Francisco bay area. Thanks

They used to have an incredible guy, a fireman who did bow rehairs Addition/NOPA - San Francisco, CA....
They do great rehairs, sometimes they had crappy black hair, I'd get the hair from best and take it to them.
I used to use Ifshin.
We have a good selection of Valentines hair bows but i still feel like weve over looked something.

Hi I'm looking for a website that has instrcutions on how to make bows and flowers from ribbon, to go on hair clips etc. Anybody know any good places or even books?

It's an American site that sells ribbon but if you look at the tutorials section you'll find details of how... .
If you google "the ribbon retreat" you'll find some.
Have you tried YouTube there are oodles of how to videos on there Thanks i will have a look .
I posted off my bow in a new piece of plastic piping bought specially from B&Q to be re-haired by a very reputable violin establishment and it arrived back freshly re-haired but with five of the hairs hanging down, each one snapped in a different place...

Strings usually have to be changed a little more often that bow hair.
But playing the cello correctly will eventually lead to wearing out and breaking the bow hair it away.

My dd is only nine months and won't even keep hats on her head so I don't do the bow thing for them on kids but just really....
