Boycott Israel

First off, I don't believe China should have won the bid for the Olympics given their human rights abuses, their position on Tibet and their support of the genocide in Darfur. Now, everyone is freaking out and demanding a boycott. I wish the protesting had started before the IOC made their decision. I don't believe the athletes should be sacrificed by a boycott, but I certainly think that the opening ceremonies should be boycotted to send a message and to embarrass the regime. Germany has already indicated they will not be attending and there are other European countries who are considering following suit. source

If they attack Iran preemptively, that's their own road to hoe, and no I do not think we should get involved. They're very strong militarily, and we have pretty big problems ourselves right now. They don't need our help in that situation, anyway. source

What gets me is why are the Jews causing their own demise? Why not be like everyone else and share the Earth with the rest of the people. How could anyone find happiness living behind a 28 foot wall, isolating himself from his neighbors, is beyond me. I would not live in that hellhole they call Israel even if they gave millions of dollars! What is the matter with these people, can't they see that they are creating a prison, not for Palestinians, but for themselves! source

While, there is certainly Anti-Semitism out there, and it should be condemned and challeneged when its rears its ugly head. However, crying wolf every 2 minutes won't help things in any way shape or form, and sadly this happens a lot whenever the IDF engages in another atrocity against the Palestinians, and people offer criticism against it, which often results in the predictable accusation of Anti-semitism, regardless of the merits of the criticism. source

If Israel had been a less well connected country there would be sanctions until it handed over suspected war criminals. As it is all that can be accomplished is limiting their movement a bit. source
