I cant even do a search for Braid that does not come up with 100 pages of Pex or Spectra.
Talk about thrashing a site with crap product.

If you tie braid directly to the spool you run the risk of the whole spool of line spinning on the drum on the spool with electrical tape before tying....
I tend to run about 6` of mono in the 40-60# class depending on the braid weight.

Sonic braid does it all for me! Try absolutely nothing to complain about.
I haven't used any of the really $$$ stuff and don't feel I have to .
I'm not sure if it's any more exotic, but stren sonic braid is all I use on anything now.

I went with Sufix 832 #30 braid....
Used braid also on my 110's.
I really liked the sufix 40lb braid.
It worked out pretty well for me.
When I first started throwing the 110's it was on lake fork and I was using braid at the time.
