Any recommendations? Annual breakdown that covers UK is unsuitable, due to car already having UK breakdown, and the problems associated with double-insuring.

23/11/2011 I am a first time user of the AA and I have never been spoken to or dealt with in a disgraceful manner. I took out the AA roadside recovery and they pestered me to take this all singing all dancing Breakdown Cover where they pay up to £500 ...

I had to arrange some breakdown cover today i phoned round got some prices and then i tried a broker called swinton they are currently offering 3mths free cover for home start recoovery to any uk destination etc but it is limited to 4 call outs a year...

Flag are very good but the way breakdown cover works is the price the policy on make and model a little extra for their breakdown repair cover....covers breakdown repair up to 500.

Pending a trip to Spa in June I wonder what companies are you folks using for breakdown cover in Europe? I notice many breakdown policies are now restricting car age to 10 years old, or crazy prices, which is no good to us fellow Tivvers.
