Well I finally figured out what the spongy little nodules all over a rock near my anemone are. Some days they were orange, but mostly grey or silvery and then they disappeared only to appear again a few days later. Yesterday I actually watched the clown...

However, you can use the zebras....
And a double dose zebra.
50% clowns (Z/S)
25% zebras (Z/Z)
25% blushing (S/S)
if you are a little more if you want to breed clowns and only clowns, get a blushing without marbling or smokey ect.

Looking back at pictures from almost a year ago, I noticed that most of the black has left both of my black onyx clowns.
The only change I can think of is the addition of a red bubble tip anemone. Anyone else had this issue?

Looking at your original pics, your clowns don't look overly "Onyx" to....
One of them is that it's based on the origin of the clown .
There are a few of theories on why this occurs .
It's a somewhat common occurence with "Onyx" clowns.

Talk to john pairs.any hoo your reefs are locol breed and the babys are taken good care of in there developmental as I have a couple clutches of Darwins....
I think they are locally bred but not sure.
They have young black clowns at O street.

Hey guys if i breed a male clown to a pastel het clown 100% i will get possibly 1 or 2 pastel clowns and the rest will be 100% pastel het clowns correct?

That would be for a clown to a pastel het clown....
So the breakdown in theory would be 25% pastel clown, 25% clown, 25% pastel het clown, and 25% het clown.
The odds would be 50% het clown and 50% clown.

You can get the clowns, but i would get very small ones because that tank isnt in Saltwater Aquariums Best of luck....
