I just recieved this breeding pair from a friend of a friend who told me they were sunrise peacocks but after looking at the profile on this site i dont believe they are. I think they may be Yellow Regals. Please correct me if im wrong. Its hard to see...

As for a breeding pair, they may breed or they both may breed with other cichlids.

Pair up the other female wih a new male or wait.
Even intros with tlbreeding trios at this point and your just asking for major trouble .
Adding a new female to an established pair just doesn't work.

So, once my girls shed, do I put her into his enclosure, put him into her enclosure, or.... put them both in a neutral teritory (like the feeding tank)???

Rather than be interested in the male Ive never been a professional breeder and breeding is a bonus that the male should go into the female's enclosure.

I know that a 20 high is the recommended smallest size to go with, but I was wondering if the way the tank is built makes a difference. I have seen these 15 gallon column's in the petstore and I really like the shape/size for the space I have to work ...

Ok 55, but divided in half to....
And yes some people do use smaller then normal spaces for the fish to breed in.
A breeding pair in a 29 with other fish so I decided to give them their own space and moved them to a 20 other in there.
