I am currently in the midst of planning a bridal shower for my best friend. Since she loves to cook and bake we are thinking of doing a kitchen themed shower. Any ideas in terms of decor/favors/shower games/anything else? Thanks!!

I am so mad!
So, following my last post (which can be found here http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/62560192.aspx ) I found a genius solution for the food dilemma. I bought a Qdoba catering groupon and sent FSIL an email saying I had bought...

Not a biitch.
Good lord what a nightmare.
I'm happy to hand over the reins the shower she wants but you don't have to throw it.
But I just don't think I can give you the bridal shower you want.

I know I would not attend the Shower#2 if she were my friend your own shower, there....
Presumably she had one before and I don't think any guests would like it .
One bridal shower per customer.
There is nothing wrong with that.

Hello all! There is a girl at my workplace (I work in a department with about 30 people) who is getting married in March. This girl has always given me problems. I have prayed for her, but she is very rude (to put it nicely). She barely says hello to ...

Now the person who came up with this idea in my opinion is goofy it? Opinions... .
As such, you're an invitation to her bridal shower at work.
You're there to work, not to socialize.
Of a work {bridal|baby} shower rather tacky.

Bridal shower for my cousin was nice, despite driving there in icy weather. My sister and I were expecting brunch, per the invite, and there was barely any food. But overall, it was fun except for when...

I hope it shows up, but it's not likely.
If you're sure you had it, and sure you did not spend it, then someone took it .
I've had this happen to me, and it's no fun .
Sorry that happened to you.
OMG that sucks! I can't believe someone would do that .

Hi All,
I (along with my husband's ex-wife--and yes, we get along!) will be hosting a shower for my future daughter-in-law. She's from North Dakota, so her family and bridesmaids will be hosting a shower there, but we want to have one for the relatives...

Jodi! So good to "see" you.
There is a lodge type thing off of Old Camp Horne Rd as well where I attended a shower - it was a nice building like a sweet (but pricy??) place for a shower.
