It is very much balanced like the ernie ball to be drop in replacements .

After I put in a new selector switch and a different pickup, which didn't fix it, consider removing the....
I had a similiar problem with my SG's bridge pickup a while back ago.
The switch out and tighten the screws, see if that helps .

I don't think the pickup sounds "bad" its just not what I'm.
Right just get a faulty pickup or something.
