just wondering to know if i study on bridging visa ( granted on application of 485) do i need to inform the Boss(Immigration Dept)regarding my COE to attach in 485 application ..????

If he is a British citizen then he assessed at AL1 for student visa meaning with confirmation of enrolment he can do visa onshore, and extendable.

Can time on a tourist visa together count? Yes for the reply GerogeD....
Be remaining on a bridging visa and then we would meet the 12 month criteria but it was not a risk we as it is temporary and you have a reasonable explanation for it.

So i have been thinking...
originally i was going to get a 1st WHV then a 2nd WHV then apply for a partner visa.. that way i will have lived with my partner for 12 months and should be ok for the partner visa..
however, i have hit a bit of a stumbling...

They are designed for a bridging....
So you cannot apply for a bridging visa.
Sorry but you do not just get a bridging visa, they are issued when you have applied for another visa and the existing visa runs out..
