I will say that with brining, the leftover meat is always still pretty moist.
You might be able to get away with that if you brine, I have never tried it.

I would think that pure a brine would freeze.
brining increases contents of cells because water would "leave" the cells to "dilute" the brine.
Well, first to say I have NO experience in "brine then freeze" so....

Reading Abyr's post, though, this can't be right that I should brine the bird - any....
turkey needs to smoke for 10 hours.
I've done some independent that a 8 - 12 lbs .
So, I think I'm going to smoke a turkey this year.
