There are some community samples though which are developed ... .
There isn't any official supported API.
I just found a managed library sample ( Readme_HelloWorld_CLR Sample ) and a complete T-SQL reference here: SQL Server Service Broker .

Almost any ORM supports this - there is nothing special, you need just.
I would suggest NHibernate.

Orphaned messages are pain.
I have recently considered using Service Broker for a project, but yes, decided to go for MSMQ depend on a bunch of system views to tell you what's going on.

I'm just saying that you must consider also the difficulties to the Service Broker Queues.

But I think the difference is, well the way I think of it is, a stock broker fulfills your request for buying it so FXCM or whatever forex broker is that "person" or entity that execute the order for you.

I am learning Service Broker for the project..
The message size limitation in MSMQ has halted my digging in that direction .
Just a consideration if you go the MSMQ route.
Or at least not easily so.
