I've beat most of the campaign on Brutal in 1-2 tries. I have 18 hours of game play trying to beat Supernova. I've watched many videos and tried to copy them. I can't do it. Help!

At the start, get mining and build up a fleet the fire is nearly to the end, you save and fly up north and attack the vault.
It on brutal was cheezy but I can't imagine doing any other way.
