You should be proactive as needed.
We budget and reevaluate it periodically to make sure some time, do at least a cursory budget and track what you spend.

We've just released an app called Ez Budget)? There's also the Easy Envelope Budget Aid (EEBA).

AJ Based on my own experience as a club....
They do ask for donations.
I haven't used it, but I've seen it recommended as free accounting software for personal/small business use.
It's an open source volunteer project for accounting software.
