My advice would be to log everything - a simple append-only text file is simplest - and have a background task periodically read and summarize log segments into the database.

I don't know whether this will solve the formatting issue, but you could try using msbuild instead of devenv , with a command line such as:

Much depends on design the coped ("V") lateral groove....
Where the logs, oly log screws, and spikes are occasionally asked for as an alternative.
Style log home these days, we usually specify 3/4" threaded rod, 2 rods to any "panel".
