My back has been bothering me for the past year or so and i finally had an MRI yesterday and talked to the Doctor today and he showed me that i have 2 bulging discs in my lower back. He wants to do a nerve root epidural which is where he goes in there...

It was outpatient, the snipped off the bulging parts (I think there were 2 parts), he took it easy for a few.
I did.
Now? I dont have the disc issue, I have pinched nerves/limited nerve function in two places.

Do you mean bulging discs or herniated Herniated nucleus pulposus /protruded discs??? There is a big difference & alot of times the terminology is tricky. Bulging discs are not really significant & pretty common even without pain, but herniations or protrusions...

The disc and making it hurt less but the process usually causes more pain until its over.

After suffering terribly for almost 9 months, my dh had surgery last week on his L1-L2. He said he had immediate relief from the pain in his leg which went from his butt to his toes.
