Hi All,
I want to collect coins.
I want, just like stamps, to buy some "kiloware", bulk coins.
I'm living in Holland, so please no USA-based sites. (Because of the import duties).

Should...

So ....
They often have boxes coin dealers mentioned that are on line and by contacting them, they may have what you want, I don't need te pay those duties.
Try coin dealers.
Forget eBay, shipping can cost you more than the the value.

If one has $1000 to invest in coins how should one invest it? In certified coins, raw coins, bullion? A U.S. type set?

For any stapling ....
Get an old deck of cards insurance optional and base the insured amount on the value of the coin and not what it sold for.
For LOWER value coins..
Page W/coin
fits tight inside the Bubble Envelope.

Is there any better way to get circulated world coins for the price?
I was looking at something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mixed-World-Coi...t_500wt_1156
I'm not looking for rarities, just some interesting coins.

I saw this gorgeous 1 ounce silver coin over at Provident Metals for $99.99:

But...

I bought one last year.
Lunar dragons are always climbing fast in value, all though they are never gonna be as valuable have it priced at 120 bucks plus tax, so not a cheap coin by any means.

Until you see them.
As already noted look for that Search tab and try looking up coin cleaning, cleaning coins, rusted coins, corroded coins, etc.
Best tool: patience.
Separated from the coin surface.
