Hello, I just got back some leafs from sand blast an powder coating and they are almost ready to reassemble, but Im having a bit of difficulty sourcing the pads that go between the leaves them selves. I done a couple searches and the net is full of bushings...

Im looking to install the thin grips using a proper screwdriver bit. Is there anything else to do, soak the bushings in penetrating oil, apply heat, etc,? Does Colt locktite them on? I want to install thin grips.

A proper screw driver will work, but there's a chance of slipping, and gouging your expensive gun .
