A Model as a business object or to manage business objects: my answer is it can do both - and should , my business objects that come back from my WCF service I consider my model .
Hello all, Quiet a few times i have read this issue and still i was not able to find it exactly. Does the business logic falls into Model or in the controller in MVC Pattern? Thanks

The model normally is your Business Layer or your Domain Model.
Roughly, yes.
Otherwise, you tend.
If you have a proper Domain Model , that actually is your business logic.
Is there any solid and comprehensive book or article on business model for web startup? I am particularly interested in how to generate revenue from a web service. Info about ad revenue, case studies and interviews would be nice.

Http a business model per se, but it certainly clarified my thinking and I ended up with such a simple model that the model itself....
A business model no-one else is using is even better if you can work it out.

Simple question: in MVC, is it okay for one model to interact with another? For example, with an Auth model...can it interact with the User model - or is there a better way to go about it? Should the middle man be the controller?

On the surface, one model can interact with another model if it needs to.
Most complex objects aren't completely standalone are trying to accomplish .
Different Model classes interacting is just fine.

The ViewModel works....
The view typically binds to properties in the ViewModel.
So, the ViewModel should call methods in the Model (business layer).
The model is generally considered part of, if not the entire, business layer.
