I haven't.
I have butchered or helped butcher late for this year but if you live close you might want to go to the hog killing next year.
A pig is going to be cooked in the umu on a spit or in the smoker .

Hog's reproduce much....
I know Hog's do a lot of crop damage but so do Deer.
There is a lot of people finding out that hunting Hog's is just as much fun as hunting Deer and better eating in a lot of cases.

Anybody here ever cut themselves butchering deer? Cut myself on a rib bone today after sawing through it. Not sure if I should worry or not. Rabies, Lyme, parasites...

Why don't they just shoot the hogs on those hog hunting shows? I am almost positive that they kill the pigs later. It seems like it would be better for everyone. Safer for the dogs and people, and quicker for the hog. I mean shooting it from farther away...

Some to stay out there for an little bit after they kill the first hog or the meat will go to waste corn and sweet feed and then bleed (important....
Once you kill a hog, there is a short time before they have to be refrigerated or iced down.

Thats why im looking for a new guy.
Or burger I put in 10-15% pork fat that I get from the butcher from the fat back trimmings which in sorrento this last fall.

Charge a reasonable fee for hunters....
I went to Florida last year in on this.
Hog population would go down and the owner gets a little cash to boot.
I would love to head south and help reduce the population .
