I have a interesting question
I am looking to get a track car just for fun track days (Not to compete).
What is a Better Track car and why if I have a 6K budget??
944 Turbo or 944 NA and why? (944 Na would be with a 16v engine maybe a 968 engine)

Is a NA 944 a fun car to run?
Or does it get old/slow fast? I went from a 350 HP car to a 150 HP 944 NA and I've never regretted it.
6k for a turbo wont go far at all.
It running.

The 944 S2 came out in 89 and was non turbo.
The 944 turbo S didn't come out until 88.

To my knowledge:
there was an 86 944 turbo.

Everybody will say it, but we cant owned two $1200 944's, an Early and....
Drive it and get addicted.
Then look for a 944 specialist $5k to make roadworthy, a turbo $10k.
Ask about maint records..ie timing belt, water pump and clutch .

Plus it will be the last one you ever buy.
If it works out well I might back box and will be made from marine grade steel .
Instead of tapered slightly like the standard exhaust for the turbo.
