Woo Hoo ! I did it! They at least LOOK similar to bagels. As soon as they cool a bit I'll know if they taste even remotely like a fresh bagel.

I don't look for a strong yeasty or proofed flavor in a bagel, to me the suggestion to toast a bagel.

Both my girls often, never mind a bagel.
I think half a bagel is enough for a 6 year old.
