I keep reading contradictory information regarding this subject. From what I read, the 3000 models of the PSP are hackable, but I still find a lot of posts saying it is unhackable (or "semi-hackable").

I realize the psp scene is pretty much dead. i used to mess around with my 1000 since i bought it years ago
i started using it again but for psx games and also using it as a wifi controller to play games on my pc.

The last couple PAX's i went to, you could see 100's of people on DS's .
After PSP Go and other blunders, the PS handheld market is floundering.

My friend bought a PSP from www.qisahn.com
To his surprise, he found a DEAD PIXEL.
So he happily took it back for a exchange, which was certainly what he deserved.
To his "surprise" again, he was charged 10 dollars in order to exchange.
