Only the original owner can buy an extended warranty from MB. However you can purchase a third party service contract for your local MB dealership. I've purchased several Easy Care service contracts from Atlanta Classic Cars in Duluth, GA. The price shouldn't be that bad since it still in factory with low miles. source

If this is extending the factory bumper to bumper warranty AND you drive a lot of miles in a short time, 899 is a good price for the peace of mind. Once you're out of warranty even a minor repair could cost that much, let alone something major. Don't let any of these Toyota bandwagoneers kid you, go check out your local dealer's service department, they've got just as many vehicles in for repairs as anybody else. If you can consider buying a Lambo you should have money to fix it! But seriously the new Lambos are very reliable from my experience. I have owned several Lambos out of warranty and drove them like Lambos without issues. source
