I wouldn't buy one the first time. They are pretend cars. Cars are supposed to be about muscle and power (at least U.S. cars). What's the point of being American if we can't exercise a little conspicuous consumption.

I can't help but wonder if part not buying another hybrid is from people who bought a first or second generation Prius and drove it in areas where traffic congestion is a problem. These cars can't creep. In heavy traffic you need to be able to inch forward...

My friend in Orlando just traded in his 2005 Prius for a new Prius C. They gave him $11K on the trade-in. He said he couldn't resist.
