Is "business intelligence" a buzzword that has no real meaning to software developers, or does the term carry some implied meaning in terms of what the software does or how the software does it (in a general sense)? It appears to be a real business term...

In practical terms its the buzzword to datawarehouse style databases, and, probably the best generic description would be the presentation layer and calculation....

I think the mxml development environment for creating SWFs, but it targeted more at developers than designers.
Of building flash files using mxml and ActionScript rather than the normal flash tools.

Developers! Technologies change a lot, and change fast. What you do today may not be valuable tomorrow. There are a lot of technologies out there that you haven't master. Given that you have only so much free time, you won't have the time to master them...
