Looking for a easer to use cad-cam software. Have Albire Pro and Spurt CAM now. It is a pain to use. So now my question is what do you guys use 2.5 D mainly?

One of the handy features with 3D CAD like Alibre is being able to move 2d cad free.

I'm working in the DCC side of graphics, not games or CAD, so I can't speak other markets there is much less obvious need for a Mac port.

We have an engineer who needs CAD software which can read and edit .dwg files (preferably that runs on Windows but I could probably argue for a *nix box if needed). Before buying a commercial license I'd like to see, what if any, freeware or opensource...
