Cad Software or Solidworks
Hi Guys,
Looking for some Cad software or Solidworks. Trying to get a free download or something for my mac. Any one have any links.

If you're after a cracked version then that's illegal ;)
I think to run it on a mac you will need a windows OS emulator .
You can download a free trial from most suppliers.

Im not sure what's happening but I seem to be slowly losing different features in the software. Recently something occured where when setting a male toolpath it stopped correctly prioritizing the cut correctly. Now I can't group parts. I tried re booting...

I haven't heard of a degrading issue, but try reinstalling I now can't delete ... .
It appears to be the cad lite software only minutes to reinstall the software.
At this point my software has degraded so badly its not usable.

Hello,
I need to find a free version of 3D CAD software to draw up blueprints on a Mac, for an idea to be submitted to a company. They will only take it in CAD format.
I really need to find something ASAP.
If anyone on here can think of a GOOD version...

We have an engineer who needs CAD software which can read and edit .dwg files (preferably that runs on Windows but I could probably argue for a *nix box if needed). Before buying a commercial license I'd like to see, what if any, freeware or opensource...

I own a welding and fabrication shop in BC . Drawings are getting too complex to draft by hand anymore. we are going to be purchasing some CNC equipment in future such as a Torchmate, cn shear and pressbrake, mill etc.
Obviously We have to invest TIME...

Some work better for a little software piracy.....
Imho, Solidworks is the best CAD software out DraftSight, amongst about a dozen other CAD programs because I only draw in 2D mode...
Online and some less than reputable sites.
