I owe 33K on 7 credit cards and one Bank loan.
ranging from 10k to Egg card down to £2k on an AMEX
I can get a loan from a friend for 20k in Cash Shortly and was wondering is it even realistic to think...

Either way your credit report is screwed for 6 years so it would be best going bankrupt this way it's still 6 years and you won't have to pay a penny back. .

Anybody have experience with them? do they REALLY work with you? we have about 40k to pay off between Citi and BOA. DH may lose his job at the end of the schoolyear. we are planning ahead, but need to be realistic that he may not find another teaching...

Overall, what the CC compay can and can't do in this regard is regulated by the OCC (Office and you won't be able to get another hardship program from the companies, as they are regulated.

If you're on the west coast, you have a much higher chance of virtually any national lender pulling EX than you do if you live east .
Look through the credit pulls database (Google it, first link), as it's highly dependent on where you live .

As far as I know, if you are running the business as a partnership, the Companies Act will have no effect on the running of the business.
