Not only the brown release is noisy What's also strange that good .
I hope it's Warp re-releasing this and not some CD sourcing label like Plain Records.

Cherry Red has a new label named Hot Shot Records. They're doing the JoBoxers reissue, but also announced a 'til tuesday reissue on their Facebook page as well. No track listing yet. Release date 2/27.

Hey there,
I am about to re-release some CDs that have been out-of-print for a while. I went to the band's "normal" mastering engineer and asked for a rate. I'd like to confirm what kind of rates are normal and the necessities of such a proposition.

In that case the sound of the reissue material....
The only reissue I've been involved with mastering was a compilation CD's, dat tape, vinyl, cassette tape, and one long-distance e-mailed wanky mp3 file).
That all sounds about right.

I know everyone is suspicious of Gold Legion, but when they finally get their CDs released, they are pretty much the best quality reissues out there. Anyway, Debbie's first solo LP is being reissued:

For my birthday my wife gave me the new re-issue of my favorite rock n' roll album. It's a big package. Not only does it have the original album-sized sleeve, one of the best album covers of all time, it has real vinyl records along with the the two CDs...

They chose the instrumental mixes in favour reissue - would be a perfect one....
Maybe they wanted all the 1983 tracks on CD 2.
They cut off the Improvisation mix on CD 2.
By the (lack of) sound of that remixes-CD back in 2005.

This DGG reissue will be the one was reissued on a Decca CD....
Available pretty much constantly in the CD era...I picked up a 2ble - 4,7 a long time ago, and 9, with some pretty bland orchestra playing, esp in the WWs and Brass...
