For the torch you will need a machine torch that you can only get from the manufactur of your plasma machine, I do not know of a universal torch, so simple to use and has a lot of features they hav ....
I think sheetcam is a great p program.

BTW, is there a list of components you need to build a cnc milling machine but since I'm new to CNC I'm not sure if that's realistic.
