I just had a CT scan from the abdomen in Aek Udon.
The price was 17000 baht which to me seems pretty ludicrous. I had no option than do it anyway.
Anybody had a CT scan in Aek as well ? For a high price as well ?
Other hospital prices ?

Hi all
Had my last chemo treatment on 20 October. Just received appointment for the CT scan on 10 November to see if it has worked, feeling very very scared. I will be seeing the consultant for the results on 22 November, any words of wisdom and help ...

10 November CT scan appointment I can relate, i waited forever for my final CT and PET first 3 month ....
Post asct pet/CT scan set for 12/17.

i have been to see the gastro who as first was happy to say ibs until my good old mum stepped in ( i am 34 i might add but thats mums for you !!! ) and said she wasnt happy as crohns and uc runs in our family , and we are happy...

I received a tentative diagnosis from my ct scan of the symptoms ....
As for a CT scan, it X rays your digestive tract, usually you drink and/or are injected with a contrast to help highlight any inflammation.
Coeliacs or not.

Hi All,
Just to let u know, Joel had his 6 month Pet/ct scan yesterday... He no sooner came home and there was a call from his Cyberknife doctor congratulating him on being NED!!!! So now it is a little over 2 1/2 years!!!!

I was diagnosed in May 2006 with breast cancer along with liver, lung, and bone mets at the age of 29. Five and a half years out I got another clean ct scan. I did have a local reoccurence in the left breast last winter, but no problems so far with bones...

January 26, 2012 - 8:16am Can you imagine the cancers that would be caught early if CT scans were used as a preventive instead of just a diagnostic tool. Maybe as part of a physical exam when a patient reaches a certain age, although, based on the membership...

At the time, I thought I had an ulcer and figured the CT scan was another waste of money medical for peace of mind.
By the time I got done, I was seriously considering bailing on my appointment .

Hi All,
Just giving a small update. Went for my 2 months out from chemo CT Scan. I should have the results on Monday for my next Onc appointment.
Too many bad stories lately to digest with family and others lately to feel good or bad really about my own...
