I had a CT scan and found out (after many complaints to all my doctors), I've got metal surgical clips in my neck . My surgeon never told me about this. I'm very confused and very afraid because of the increased pain I've been experiencing since my TT...

I visited my surgeon to ask whether and sure enough they told me my surgeon accidently left metal clips in my neck.
My surgical record states nothing about surgical clips.

Hoping to get some insight from those in the know.
I'm wondering what the variety of work is like in CT surg? It seems whenever i look at operating lists at my hospitals all i see are CABG/AVR/MVR/lobectomy. Is this what their lives are like constantly...

Number of CT surgeons currently practicing and they tend to do all the thoracic stuff as well.

I went today for abdominal CT scan and Upper G.I scan, after drinking nearly 32 ounces of barium drink, lovely taste, (yucky) then they tried to get an IV started, of course i am dehydrated, they had to poke me 3 times to get a lil vein ...
