Rudi, I recently did the replacement of my CV joint boots and it was very easy!!! If you can, post driveshaft end bolted in as they hold the wheel bearing together!! cv joint

I don't replace axles with torn boots that aren't making noise.

My CV boots have been torn for about two months now and I need to get it fixed. Is it probably a good idea to get a whole new CV joint? People have told me that the joint will sooner or later fail if the boots have been torn that long.
