How did it turn out? Would you recommend them? And approximately how much did it cost?
We want to re-do the kitchen, but its a major overhaul and a few years down the line. I'm toying with repaining the cabinets (again), or just getting them refaced.

I would just get new cabinets.
Crazy.
My mom and my neighbors have had their cabinets refaced, and in both cases, it was actually more expensive than getting new cabinet would have been.

So i'm building a kitchen cabinet for a vacant spot in my kitchen. as i was taking measurements from a similar cabinet to model this one after, i am amazed at how much space gets wasted.
the face frame is proud of the interior cabinet surface by 3/4",...

In our area 'euro' cabinets a Hoosier cabinet with the flour and sugar bins and all that plus some steel cabinets that you took with frameless....
As a cabinet company we only make FF cabinets.

No not veneer they sell a thinner material that sticks to the face of your cabinets prefinished.
Doors and drawer fronts and the thin material they use over the cabinet itself It's called veneer and drawers.

We are getting estimates and man do they seem way high. Our kitchen is something like 8x12 with a moderate island. I think 30 fronts including drawers - nothing crazy.
