Got a TRc a few months ago (for the wife) and was quite surprised to find that the cable housing is wearing grooves in the frame around the head tube. Is this just that nature of having a carbon frame or is the routing of the cables to blame? Anyone else...

The index cable has parallel strands running through the housing.
The outer housing, I recommend the Jagwire cable because you can get it in any color you is tapered at the bottom.

I find what works best for me is a Dremel tool with a cut off wheel with a piece of old cable to retain the shape.Whadaya think?

coordinate such that the inner cable & housing are cut together.
Stick an old piece of cable INTO the housing BEFORE you make
your cut.

We lived in housing when we lived in Hawaii and when we lived in Connecticut, and both experiences were great! We only lived in housing in Hawaii for about 9 months before we bought a condo, but it was very nice.
