My 2001 cadillac dts wont pass emissions i have the service engine light on and the codes are p0741 and p1860 and thats is alot of money to repair it...is there anything i can do to have it pass emissions without fixing these problems? i need to get it...

For cadillac recalls and saw that the 2001 dts had thise recall (Emissions - OBDII I/M Readiness Testing) Well.

I suggest you leave the DTS....
Value for some reason follows the Cadillac, to be honest the market is flooded with these cars to be flaming Cadillac and GM, and the second anyone (ON A CADILLAC FORUM!) tries to rationalize bud.

All that i can say is I understand where your coming from and how mad you. these cars seem to be hit or miss some guys have had no problems and others have had expensive junk.

I got my car a couple days ago, pulled the codes after I cleared it and got the following:
P1189 - Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch Circuit.
C0579 - Left Front Solenoid Circuit Open.
C0584 - Right Front Solenoid Circuit Open.
So anyway I don't know much...
