Hi
Set the level as normal ie on a flat surface, project the laser and mark a line, check with a spirit level, do the same levels as a guide ie one in either....
As they often know of people that calibrate instruments and may be able to help.

Probably a stupid suggestion, but have you tried multiple surfaces? I had a laser mouse I was given (Targus brand) that would do what you it will be moved in arcs - it's a relative....
Download the intellipoint soft there and try to calibrate it.

They're very tightly regulated for sizing.
I know I have hundreds of them laying around.

Just received this message from my lotem 400 - Expose ended with no good Laser, or something like that: Started with 23, ended with 0.
Also the lotem had a windows crash in the same time. I restarted the machine and tried to re expose the job...
