Re: Calibre eBook Manager organizing - what's the point? I delete everything out of Calibre as soon as I convert it.
Personally I think it's good to convert, and that's about it.

Thanks to the lovely people who post all those links, I've downloaded quite a few free books from Amazon in recent days. Because I have a Sony, I've, er, taken Alf's advice, and they are apparently good to go. The only problem is when they're converted...

Calibre recognized the NST and all I had to do was select the books, convert them, and pointI'll tell you why I use Calibre and how it works for me.

I've noticed that if I import the collections.json from calibre into cc.db and all is dandy.

I am hoping that someone might be able to give me a walkthrough on how I can take books that are in my Kindle for PC program and get them into Calibre so that I can convert them to epub. I know about the DRM and how to go about taking care of that issue...
