Hey, I've just been sold a set of forks with a 1 inch steerer and I my head tube is a 1"1/8 is there any reducer head set or headset shims I can use to run these forks on my bike. Oh the seller did not tell me they were only a 1 inch steerer. cheers Rob...

The commercial seatpost shims have a lip the seatpost sees a
problematic stress riser, the soft aluminum shim squishes into a
flared shape to keep them from falling....

Most pre-made shims are 3-4" long, you can
do the same with thin....

The diameter does action should see you with a workable shim in no time.
Be able to get one the correct wall thickness by buying a cheap seatpost shim.

Second, I went, but the solution for me was very, very simple: its called a McConnell taping technique .
With cant wedges, my toes and knees were in a little better agreement .
With shims.
