They are called Wave lenses.
Never had sunnies that stay on prescription-wise takes a scan of my eyes and the lens is then shaped to fit.
Which I guess might make a difference though.

I was at a plant last month to go over my prescription glasses....
My prescription glasses though "safety rated" don't have side shields.
I haven't used those, but they do make safety glasses that will go over many prescription glasses.
