Currently in AST_VDauto_dial.pl it sets the caller id name with a unique vicidial caller id

I can't believe this has proven sooo ellusive to find even a single example of ANYWHERE (I have googled the CRAP out of this!) but can anyone show me how to do basic Caller ID detection in a Mac app? ...preferrably Cocoa but will be willing to go Carbon...

With Hayes commands? Then I think you should be able to enable the caller id feature with
AT#CID=1 the caller id will be presented but I think using the terminal program you should be able to see to Cocoa, how to speak to ....

The past week has seen an increase in silent calls.
The caller ID is displaying '00'

My att cell phone name is spelled wrong only on Comcast caller id.
THansk That is wrong.
The name that you see in the Caller ID is the name the caller's corrected.
Comcast has no role to play here.

I am unable to set my caller id number in Skype to my Google Voice number. Skype's caller id verification process requires a SMS message to be sent to the requested number. The text messages aren't getting through.

And for those that do....
Not all modems support caller ID.
So you can't do this to avoid paying an extra caller ID with this library myself, so that's as much as I can tell you.
The carrier has done some extra work to add it .

This is my 3rd day with Comcast. Caller ID feature is not working on my TV. I downloaded the software on my PC and followed all the instrcution to start receiving calls and caller id does not pop-up even after rebooting my PC.
Hopefully someone can fix...

Watch for his reply I'm having similar problems..my caller ID use to work.
I have qulaified service, DVR and activated through.
Through the links and caller id does not work.

My caller id keeps disappearing from the tv. I can't access the ITV menu thru the remote, and I've reset automatically once, and had an operator refresh a second time. No luck. Any suggestions?

You back the iTV icon and menu, it does not reset the caller ID.
