Is it safe to eat, say, 1000 calories a day M-Thurs so I can eat more calories than usual on Friday? I'm on a 1200 cal a day diet but really want to splurge on Friday (happy hour and a basketball game!). However, I really don't have time to exercise those...

It is, however, okay to have a cheat day as long as you don't go crazy and eat 2500 calories! I always eat around 1200 calories during the week and have my "cheat"....
You should never go below 1200 calories per day.
I've been recording my calories for 3 days and I've eaten/drank close to 3,000 calories each day! I can't stop drinking alcohol and eating out and I never workout...this is super unhealthy :/

Just takes some self control.
Add in some fruits and veggies.
Cut out the fast food, 3000 calories is a lot especially for a female at your size.
Even if you are, then 1 limit or stop drinking . .

MFP has me on the 1200 calories per day program also...and I usually eat between 800-1000 and then burn how your close fit! San....
Burn between 300-400 calories a day doing cardio...you CANNOT eat the calories you burn.

I would say bump the calories up reduction per day....
Then 1800 calories a day right now and she is about 5'8" 135 pounds or so.
On a resistance training day you will increase your carb/calories a little bit to 2200.

So if you don't eat all your calories in a day I hear people say to make it up the nextYou can still eat the calories you needed for today, just add a little more exercise into the mix not going to lose any weight that....

So 1200 is only a guidelineI ....
A 4'9" person could potentially only need 950 calories per day.
If your calories burned are correct though, and you are only eating 1200 calories a day than, it will be lower.
Not sure.
