Can an IR autofocus film camera be repaired? So I bought one off the bay and the autofocus does not seem to work (focuses only at infinity), can it be repaired by camera repair guys?

But be prepared, it may well be beyond economical repair.

Depending on what the actual damage is will determine the repair cost.
Just look for manual focus lenses to begin with.
For the cost of the repair, you could buy 3 or 4 used lenses.

Unless it is a DSLR it maybe....
There is a Canon service centre in HCMC and BAngkok but repairs often take 1-2 weeks.

Rebodied with a wearable 480p Bluetooth camera, so it may not show everything as clearly as I would want.

Short of pulling the plugs and looking down there for the intert, I don't know how you'd tell .
I've seen a couple of articles on them and most had something like a timesert put into the head .
