How can we be patriotic with such a crap national anthem?
the british/english national anthem is dire, scotland and wales are alright because they have really good anthems of their own, but we are stuck with "god save the queen".
it is bland, uninspiring...

Obviously that answer may differ depending on the circumstances so these are the circumstances - it's a team sport, some of your colleagues are singing and some aren't.

I'd sing any national anthem no matter what the words were, even if it was a load of shit about NHS sing, but then again I've caught myself singing the American and Canadian anthems when they were played never stop anyone else.
