I have never used a bebit card but I can learn to US dollars before... .
Because of free trade most other banks will also exchange back into Canadian when processed to my bank account.
Scotiabank never refuses Canadian dollars.

It used to be entirely no-fee transfers between Canadian TD US bank accounts and US TD Bank accounts with Easyweb, as you could not sure if you'd be able to....
Better than most Canadian banks anyway.
