I saw some Canadian Med Schools as being LCME accredited. Are those any good for a person who doesn't get into a medical school in the US? Would it still be hard to get residency?

By the way Canadians on SDN describe Canadian medical schools they seem to be harder to get into than not competitive enough for a US medical school, you wouldn't be for a Canadian one.

I am not a lawyer so this isn't an answer that gets you off the hook, but seriously look into contacting uscis and getting a real, extended visitor's visa on compassionate grounds .
