Under the 14 day cooling off period what level of cancellation fee is it justifiable for an insurance company to charge? I always thought the 14 day period was supposed to allow no charge (beyond for any cover 'used') cancellation akin to the distance...

Hi, i called up swinton this morning to cancel my insurance that automatically renewed on 30th june. they say i have to pay £60-something (£50 cancellation and £10+ for time on cover).
