Bad experience with Cancun Thrifty in Jan 2012. Do not get sucked in by low price shown on line - cost of needed insurance will double or triple cost of rental. Airport access fee of 10% extra will be applied to cost of insurance when it should only apply...

If you have insurance that covers rental cars can they make you take it? If you pay cash (GEICO) covers car rentals, that's not good in Mexico! Why is that? Looking for another company there .

We are looking for the best rental car companies at Cancun Airport whose cars are in good shapen and will not charge us hidden extras. Is supplemental Libaility insurance definitely going to be an extra, no matter what rental car company we use? Thanks...

They were great, when we were in an accident (not our fault) they really helped us out to pay for liability, ... .
I've used Easyway 3 times and Cancun Renta Car once, both were good although Cancun RC up the car.
Google them.

It seems Fox Car Rental keeps coming up as the cheapest by far for jeep or SUV rentals of all the car rental agency locations at the airport. Has anyone else had experience with this company, or could offer any comments about it? Thank you in advance....

Terry Our friends just used Fox and had no problems .
At the car rental office is pretty standard at most rental agencies in Cancun , so I imagine.

In the car when you leave the rental comapany - ours was "lost" and I'm sure they removed it when, google it.

When they went in 2010 they rented a car place you need to go in ....
They aren't at a resort, just a condo of someone we know .
Make transportation reservations.
No need to rent a car.
Again google things to do in Cancun.
And Xcaret.
