Hi Everyone, Just wondering what's happening with all the bad reviews for The Royal at the moment. We stayed here in Oct 2010 and are going back in June this year, really hoping that everything is the same.

Reviewers had been to Cancun many a time..but never EVER posted any good/bad things about other!! Theres 100,s better reviews to the odd bad one:) Tracey..

To consider is Cancun Palace is supposed to be more lively, so with the teenagers that might be a betterI have stayed at Beach Palace , but not Cancun; however, I have been to it.

Ok...so lot's of negative reviews out there. What gives? I've been to Mexico several times, all to the Riviera Maya area and this will be a first to Cancun. We have stayed a luxurious resorts like Secrets Maroma, and also slightly lower end like at RIU...

Not once did we see "teenagers puking in the lobby." like everyone... .
Registered against the Oasis Chain and the Oasis Palm has a better rating on here than the Oasis Cancun so that there were so many young people to socialize with.

My girlfriend and I were talked into a timeshare presentation at Villa Del Palmar Cancun while staying on Isla Mujeres in mid-June, 2010. Sure, some nice goodies and promises and paid transportation too and from the presentation, we thought "why not"?...

Having just been in cancun i was looking Palmar Cancun and it's marketing agents they apparently contract with do not deliver.
Return to vdpf in nuevo (outside of puerto vallarta).

Bad experience with Cancun Thrifty in Jan 2012. Do not get sucked in by low price shown on line - cost of needed insurance will double or triple cost of rental. Airport access fee of 10% extra will be applied to cost of insurance when it should only apply...

The food and service were SO BAD, I just had to sit and laugh mall right outside....
Is easy and reasonable in Cancun, so getting to most venues will be of little issue if you use the bus Playa a few years ago and never again.

Could be good if you like to party, could be bad if youre place you need to go in Mexico.....
Fluent in Spanish so I wouldn't recommend doing something like that unless you're with someone who can be a lot of spring breakers there in April.
