They keep forever crushed the candy canes up in the food processor put them into a vanilla cake with green food or in sugar cookies I bought up a boatload....

I've also used them as ornaments on my tree...and inevitably somebody grabs one off to eat (I had to tell one person that I had used the same candy canes, just throw them in....
Cleaners can turn any candy cane into a reindeer.
