I have a recipe for mini meatloaves that uses a can of red Kidney beans, I also have a recipe of chicken chili tonight that uses 2 cans of black beans and 1 can of Kidney beans.

I don't buy canned lentils because i mostlyProbably not....
Hassle Time Safety Mess and given about 59-79p for a can of kidney beans/chick peas etc.
I do use canned beans and lentils when I can for a few reasons.
Ive been using one online to make them with pinto beans but it tastes flat almost starchy. I get alot of dry pinto beans for free and like canning them so when i want some i dont have to fool with them.

I always took the lazy way and got a can o pork.
But I have never made them into baked beans.

The pints seemed to have about twice the amount of beans as the steel can.

How many jars can be made from 1 lb of dried beans? So I can know the real soaking ....
You can sanity check that by comparing, without becoming too salty.
